I am a photographer living and working in the North Yorkshire Moors National Park. Every day I am fortunate to be surrounded by the beautiful landscapes and seascapes, which you see in my pictures, and I hope to use the cYorkshire website as a means of sharing these spectacular surroundings with you.

I am lucky to be able to see this scenery in all seasons and weather conditions and at all times of the day. I aim to show how the changing seasons and lighting cast a different mood on the landscape from day to day.

Whilst I strongly believe that the photographer should capture the scene and attempt to portray it as he sees it, I do not manipulate my images to produce extreme and unnatural colour variations, all too easy with digital photography. I prefer to let the natural light and weather provide the inspiration for my photographs.
