This picture was taken as you walk from the Strid Woods car park at Bolton Abbey, towards the Strid along the well established footpaths. Bolton Abbey is just off the A59 between Harrogate and Skipton.

This picture was taken from the banks of The Strid as you look up towards the excellent pathway system. Disabled access is well thought out on the Bolton Abbey Estate, and is well worth a visit. It takes approxiamately 40 minutes to walk easily from the car park up river to The Strid.

Brimham Rocks, North Yorkshire

This picture was taken within the wonderous Brimham Rocks. It is a natural rock formation that is managed by The National Trust. Brimham Rocks is situated between Ripon and Pately Bridge off the B6265, or from the B6165 between Ripley and Summerbridge.
